1.  Pathology Findings

We have had a pathology report come back with a diagnosis of "Minute Scant Fragments of Superficial Epidermis".  What would the ICD-10 be for this?

The information provided by the pathology report is not definitive enough to warrant a specific diagnosis code. I would recommend conferring with the pathologist for further clarification and definitive information. Otherwise, I would default to L98.8 - Other specified disorders of the skin and subcutaneous tissue
